This is a quilt that I designed and executed from “go” for a client a couple of years ago. He specified southwest colors and the size of the finished quilt. I drew 5 designs for him and he chose this one. It is my baby; my pride and joy, my first absolutely, positively, totally original composition. I designed the pattern, of course, and can make a similar quilt, but never exactly the same, because I used hand dyed fabrics which often have patterns of their own; ie: the “feather” in the lower right corner was an accident of the dying and a discovery on my part which I enhanced. My client loved the results. This is an example of what I could do for you if you are looking for a totally original quilt!
